Essex Men's Conference 2024
We are very excited that the Essex Men's Conference is back on Saturday 12th October at Danbury Mission Church! Last year we had men from 50 churches in Essex gather together for an amazing day of singing and Bible talks. This year Graham Beynon will be speaking on the subject of “being men of the future.”
The Essex Men’s Conference is an opportunity for Christian men across Essex to come together and spend the day thinking about what it means to be distinctive disciples of Jesus Christ in today’s world. It’s a day when we hear God speak through the preaching of his Word, with the bible-centred teaching applied to help us consider our calling as Christian men. It is a chance to be encouraged as we sing God’s praises and pray. It is also a great opportunity to get to know other Christian men in the area, and for us to encourage and spur one another on in following Jesus.
Doors open at 9am. The first session begins at 9.45am and the last session finishes at 3pm.
We will have 10ofThose joining us for the day with a full bookstall and some mega deals.

Danbury Mission are excited to host our 11th annual Women’s Conference on Saturday 9th March.
Title: Greater: Persevering in Jesus
Our speaker: Lizzy Smallwood. Lizzy Smallwood spends her time being a Pastor's wife, mum, & part time SEN Art teacher. She loves teaching the Bible to women at events home and abroad. She is married to Simon and they have three children. For 23 years they were doing Gospel ministry in a church in Dagenham. Simon is now the Pastor of a Church in Cornwall. Simon & Lizzy hope to be part of a small network of evangelical churches looking, by God's grace, to bring the Gospel back to Cornwall.
The event will commence at 9.45am, doors open at 9.15am.

The Women’s Conference ‘23
We are very excited to host our annual Essex Women’s Conference again in 2023.
Our speaker will be Karen Soole talking on the topic of ‘wisdom’. Karen is a Women’s Worker, Conference Speaker, and author of ‘Liberated: How the Bible exalts and dignifies women’ and ‘Unleash the Word’. Karen is also the Women’s Minsitry Director for the Anligcan Mission in England (Amie). Find out more about Karen at her website.

Lux Arts Festival ‘23
The LUX Arts Festival 2023 is a week of diverse, creative events at Danbury Mission Church for you and your friends featuring talented artists and performers who will also share something of their Christian faith.
This year’s line-up includes Scottish singer-songwriter Ellyn Oliver, West End performers John and Heidi Langley, London-based rapper Collistar, and the hugely popular Saltmine Theatre Company.
